strange, it does not cause an error here:

I was hoping I can do fancy debugging now, but this stops me quickly.

Can you try down-grading to 0.6.4.1, the version before the progress
bar? Maybe that is somehow relevant.

Is the reproducible of the error dependent on whether arbtt-capture is
currently running and writing to that file?
