[Tiptoi] Changing Tiptoi Create to French

I bought a German tiptoi Create pen thinking I could change it to French.
When I try to change the language in the tiptoi manager, it tells me that
my pen cannot be changed.

The serial number starts with HP.

The info on this page seems to indicate there's no way to change it:

Is there anything I can do, or do I have to sell it and buy a french one?
