Yes, I have.

The NANDs are part of the upd file. And IIRC burntool5 doesn't read
them from the upd file whereas burntool3 does.

They have not been broken because flashing did not even start.

Unfortunately not (I have not found one with relevant information on
my disk). But basically the burn starts and aborts quickly before
doing anything. Afterwards in the logfile there's a line containing
the error but it does not really help.
