Yes, it seems so (maybe someone with a closed pen can confirm).

It comes up with PID 038D and VID 04D6 and is mounted as an unformatted 
drive.  USB sniffing does not show any interesting default communication 
in this mode though this might be different when writing with Burn Tool. 
I haven't tried.
